We got this single crank hospital bed for my uncle after his stroke, and it’s served us very well. The crank mechanism raises and lowers the backrest easily, so he can sit up to eat or watch TV without needing multiple pillows. It’s a great option for home care, especially when you’re working with a budget.
The frame feels very stable, and the side rails make him feel safe when sleeping. It also has wheels with brakes, which makes it easier to clean around the room or reposition him. Though it doesn’t adjust the leg section like some other beds, it does the job if you only need basic positioning.
